Surrounded by excellent advisers, I ventured into bookkeeping for small businesses and thoroughly enjoyed interacting with and advising my clients. Sliding into accounting almost by accident, I started with the bookkeeping for my husband’s construction company in the early 1990. I was initially self-taught and enjoyed the challenges this new occupation brought with it. Eager to learn more, I went back to school and graduated from NBCC St. Andrews in 1995.
